The BCH Ambassadors Leadership Council is comprised entirely of volunteers. Council members are recruited from within the organization as well as the community at large, and are responsible for the leadership of the Ambassadors organization.
I've chosen to be involved with the BCH Ambassadors because I enjoy working with others and seeing positive outcomes related to that work.
As a Boulder native, volunteering and BCH have been a large part of my life. I was born at BCH, started my volunteer journey at BCH as a Candy Striper while in junior high, and then again with the PT dept. while in college at CU.
I missed the constant activity of a hospital after retirement and began service volunteer work at BCH in October 2014. I was honored that I was encouraged to join the Leadership Council of the BCH Ambassadors and look forward to any opportunity to be of service.
After I retired, I wanted to volunteer in the community since I now had the time. A friend asked me to help with decorations at the BCHA 2015 Holiday Extravaganza, and I knew immediately I had found my volunteer home. The energy and support of the volunteers is amazing and BCHA supports causes I embrace. I feel fortunate to have found the BCH Ambassadors!

I love the Ambassadors because it's an honor to work with a group of individuals who are passionate about giving back to their community.

I support BCH’s Ambassadors because of all the good they do for both the hospital and the community.
