The BCH Ambassadors Mini-Grant Program is intended to enhance or facilitate quality patient care.
Funds for the mini-grant program come from the proceeds of the Foothills Hospital Gift Shop, as well as from special vendor sales and fundraisers hosted by the Ambassadors throughout the year.
Mini-grants are awarded for non-capital services or equipment that benefit patient care and/or enhance the patient experience.

Applications should be submitted by the first of the month for review during the Ambassadors Board meeting held on the fourth Monday of the month.
Awarded $680.00 to Clinical Education to purchase bags for diabetic booklets and information that is given to BCH inpatients by the nursing staff. The bags keep all educational materials in one location so it can be easily taken to outpatient educational visits with Diabetic Educators and physicians.
"The BCH Ambassadors have awarded The Grillo Health Center funds to pay for the annual subscription to Clinical Key which is database software that is used to provide accurate medical information to BCH patients and families. This information assists in making important health care decisions, encourages pro-active collaboration and better use of time with physicians, keeps patients out of the ED, and helps patients stay healthy.
The BCH Ambassadors provided us $1500 to purchase children's bike helmets for the Prevention Program through Trauma Services at BCH. This program is a community outreach partnered especially at Valmont Bike Park to provide un-helmeted children-in-need with helmets.
