For 65 years, the BCH Ambassadors have continued their efforts of supporting our not-for-profit community hospital in their goal to create and care for the healthiest community in the nation. We work both diligently and creatively to support that goal.

In the most recent years, we have been able to make numerous contributions to the hospital through our many special programs and events:

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Boulder Community Health Ambassadors is to provide leadership to the community to generate and distribute funds that enhance the services provided by the hospital.

Annual  Extravaganza and Boulder Busts a Move:

Over $222,000 has been raised in the past 5 years to benefit various departments and specific hospital funds including the BCH Breast Cancer Treatment Fund and BCH Behavioral Health. 

Scholarship Program:

This program provides scholarships for BCH employees advancing their health care education, BCH volunteers and high school students pursuing human health care studies. Over $180,000 has been awarded in the past five years.

Mini-Grants:

Mini-grants are provided to BCH departments to enhance patient care. $22,000 has been granted over the past 3 years.

Additional Programs:

Over $30,000 has been given to other programs during the past 4 years including the SANE (Sexual Assault Nurses Exam) program, crayons and coloring books to the Emergency Dept., one-time grants, and other hospital programs.

In the past sixty five years of serving the community, our organization has given over $2.5 million+ to our hospital through fundraising, membership dues, and donations.
